Uddina vada

  • 1cup split black gram(uddina bele)
  • 4tsp semolina (Rava ) roasted
  • Ginger chopped
  • 3tsp of dry coconut chopped
  • Curry leaves chopped
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • Peppercorn  5-6
Preparation:
  • Soak split black gram in water over night.
  • Wash soaked split black gram and grind it.(without adding too much of water)
  • Add semolina, ginger, coconut, curry leaves,peppercorn, salt and coriander leaves to the ground mixture.
  • Heat oil,Soak hands with little water, take a small ball of the batter and give it a round shape.
  • Make a hole in the center.
  • Deep fry it.
